Shafqat Rasool built the Tallee app as a Commercial/Freemium application. This service is provided by Shafqat Rasool and is intended for use "as is".

This Privacy Policy is to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone deciding to use the Tallee App. By choosing to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

Tallee operates on a strict Privacy-First, Local-Storage model. This means your personal and financial data never leaves your device.

• Financial Data & Ledgers: All transaction records, contact names, and balances you enter are saved inside your device’s local SQLite database. We do not host, view, or upload this data to any external server.
• Receipt Attachments (Camera/Gallery): Tallee requires access to your device's Camera and Storage to allow you to snap and attach receipts to your transactions. These images are stored securely in the app's hidden local directory and are not transmitted to us or any third party.

2. Device Permissions Required

To provide you with a fully functional financial tracker, the app may request the following Android System permissions:

• Storage/Photos/Media: To attach existing receipt images to transactions and to save exported PDF reports to your device.
• Camera: To take live photos of bills/invoices directly within the app.
• Biometric Prompt: Tallee offers an App Lock feature. We use your device's native biometric hardware (Fingerprint/FaceID) to verify your identity. Tallee only receives a "Success" or "Fail" signal from Android; we do not collect or store your actual fingerprint data.
• Notifications/Alarms: To send you exact payment reminders. Notification triggers are stored locally.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

Because Tallee functions entirely offline, we do not sell, trade, or share your personal financial data with third-party companies, advertisers, or analytics platforms. The app does not utilize tracking SDKs like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel for user behavior tracking.

However, the app may use standard Google Play Services solely to ensure normal functionality and distribution through the Google Play Store.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us with your data (stored locally). We provide features such as Passcodes and Biometric App Locks to help protect your data from unauthorized physical access to your device.

Please note that no method of electronic storage on a mobile device is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and generating frequent "Encrypted Backups" (a feature available inside the app) to prevent data loss if your device is broken or lost.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Policy

Since your data is not stored on our servers, you have complete control over your data deletion.

If you wish to delete all your data, you can do so by:

• Clearing the app’s data/cache via your Android Device Settings.
• Uninstalling the Tallee app from your device. (Warning: This will permanently destroy your financial ledgers and receipt images unless you have manually saved an encrypted backup file to an external location).

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. Since the app is offline, no data is transmitted to us regardless of the user's age.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to comply with Google Play Console regulations or reflect new features. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
